What you get

From a flat image to slides you can actually use.

PPTX

Text you can edit, not just look at

Turn words trapped inside screenshots, posters, and slide photos into editable text boxes. The original image stays in place as a visual reference, so you can update copy without losing the design that made the source useful.

  • Edit wording, fonts, colors, sizes, and alignment
  • Preserve the original composition as the slide background
  • Fix typos or localize copy without rebuilding the slide

Elements you can move and reuse

Go beyond text extraction. AI separates the page into editable text, visual elements, and layout frames, giving you a flexible starting point for redesigns, brand updates, and future slides.

  • Move, resize, recolor, or remove individual objects
  • Reuse extracted components across other slides
  • Refine every element and layout directly in your slide editor

Picture to Slides

Turn a photo of a slide into a clean slide image. Correct perspective, glare, shadows, and uneven lighting in photos taken in meeting rooms, lecture halls, or from projector screens.

  • Straighten the photographed slide and restore its edges
  • Reduce glare, shadows, and camera distortion
  • Export a clean slide image that is ready to use

Why image2slides

Less rebuilding. More time to refine.

Skip the manual rebuild

Start with an existing screenshot, poster, or slide photo instead of recreating every page from scratch.

Keep your story in order

Arrange your images once and preserve that sequence throughout conversion, so the finished slides follow your intended flow.

Private by default

Generated PPTX records and download links are saved in My files. Source images and processing files may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

How it works

From images to slides in three steps.

  1. 1Pick images

Add up to 40 screenshots, posters, or slide photos in PNG, JPG, JPEG, or WEBP, then arrange them in the order you want for your slides.

  2. 2Generate automatically

Choose how editable you want the result. AI detects the layout, extracts text and visual elements, and rebuilds each image as a structured slide.

  3. 3Download your slides

Review the result and download a standard PPTX that keeps your image order and gives you editable text, elements, and frames for further refinement.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I upload?

image2slides accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WEBP files, with a maximum size of 20 MB per image. You can add up to 40 images to a single conversion and arrange them before generation. For the standard editable-slide workflow, images in the same batch should use matching dimensions so the resulting slides keep a consistent layout.

Which parts of the generated slides are editable?

In Editable text mode, detected copy is rebuilt as editable text boxes while the rest of the source image is preserved for visual accuracy. All elements mode also attempts to separate visual elements, frames, and the background into editable layers wherever the source allows. Because an uploaded image is already flattened, complex artwork, effects, or overlapping graphics may remain rasterized when that is the most reliable way to preserve the original appearance.

Can I convert multiple images into one PowerPoint?

Yes. You can upload up to 40 images, review their thumbnails, and rearrange them before starting the conversion. Each source image becomes its own slide, and image2slides places every slide into one PPTX in the exact order shown in the workspace. If a file is flagged for an unsupported format, excessive size, or mismatched dimensions, replace or remove it before generating the slides.

Can it restore a photo of a projected or printed slide?

Yes. Picture to Slides is designed for photos of projected screens, printed pages, and presentation displays. It corrects perspective before rebuilding each photo as a clean, full-slide image. You can let image2slides detect the slide ratio automatically or choose 16:9 or 4:3 yourself. This mode prioritizes visual fidelity, so the restored page remains image-based rather than being separated into individually editable text and graphic elements.

Will the result open in Microsoft PowerPoint?

Yes. image2slides produces a standard PPTX file designed to open and remain editable in Microsoft PowerPoint. The file may also open in Keynote, Google Slides, LibreOffice Impress, and other compatible presentation apps, but fonts, spacing, and visual effects can render differently between applications. For final delivery, review the slides in PowerPoint and replace any source fonts that are not installed on your computer.

Are my uploaded images saved in an online project library?

Yes. When you are signed in, generated PPTX files and their download links are saved to your account and listed on the My files page. Uploaded source images and temporary processing artifacts may be retained separately for a limited operational period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
