1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of image2slides.com and the related image-to-slides conversion service (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. In that case, “you” includes that organization.
2. The Service
The Service uses automated and artificial-intelligence-assisted processing to convert screenshots, posters, slide photos, and other supported images into slide files and related output. Completed PPTX files may be downloaded automatically and remain available through My files for signed-in users. Features, supported formats, limits, processing methods, and output may change over time.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are not old enough to do so where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use of the Service.
You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Your Content and Permissions
You retain the rights you have in content you upload and in output generated for you, subject to any rights in third-party materials, the Service, and applicable law. You are solely responsible for your uploads, instructions, and use of output.
You represent that you own or have all permissions needed to upload, process, reproduce, modify, and export your content through the Service. Do not upload confidential, personal, copyrighted, trademarked, or other protected material unless you are authorized to process it.
5. License to Process Your Content
You grant us and our service providers a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, modify, analyze, and otherwise process your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, generate requested output, and comply with law. This license ends when the content is no longer reasonably needed for those purposes, subject to operational backups and legal obligations.
6. Automated Processing and Output
Automated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, visually different from the source, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. Text, layout, fonts, images, elements, frames, and file compatibility may require review and correction. Review each downloaded PPTX before relying on it.
You must review output before relying on, publishing, presenting, or distributing it. We do not guarantee that output is unique, non-infringing, error-free, or compatible with every presentation application or device.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any law or another person’s rights, including intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
- Upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or content intended to exploit or harm another person.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, usage limits, credit requirements, or security measures.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Use automated means to access the Service at an abusive rate, resell access without permission, or misrepresent generated output as verified or error-free.
8. Credits and Fees
Some features may require credits or payment. The Service will display applicable credit costs or pricing before use where relevant. Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, consumed credits and completed processing charges are non-refundable.
We may change prices, credit rules, included usage, or limits prospectively. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred unless we permit it, and may be subject to expiration or account limits disclosed at the time they are provided or purchased.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service may depend on or link to third-party services, including authentication, cloud storage, infrastructure, and artificial-intelligence providers. We are not responsible for third-party products, terms, availability, or independent actions. Your use of a third-party service may be subject to its own terms and policies.
11. Availability and Changes
We may add, remove, suspend, limit, or modify features at any time. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider failures, network conditions, security events, demand, or other reasons. We do not guarantee continuous availability, specific processing times, or permanent access to uploaded or generated files.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or use, arising from or related to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the Service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $20. These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, unlawful or abusive activity, security risk, non-payment, provider restriction, legal requirement, or material risk to the Service or others.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination will survive, including provisions concerning rights, licenses already required for completed processing, disclaimers, liability, and disputes.
15. Applicable Law and Disputes
Applicable law and the courts or forums with jurisdiction depend on the operator of the Service, your location, and any mandatory consumer protections. These Terms do not limit rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
Before starting a formal claim, please contact us and describe the issue so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the date above. By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect, you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
